GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Backing coach Jimmy Nolan’s claim that he never

has a “bad game,” Whalen proved it again last week in a 41-0 Pacific

Coast League loss to Tesoro.

On offense, the senior had four receptions totaling 40 yards and

provided some big blocks to help the Breakers’ rushing game.

Defensively, he was responsible for 20 tackles and two pass

breakups.

“Like I’ve said before, Elliot is our most consistent football

player,” Nolan said. “He does exactly what we ask of him, and more.

He is in it for the team and is definitely the most unselfish player

on my offense, and he carries the defense. I can’t say enough about

this guy.”
