Brushstrokes: An

Exhibition of Traditional and Contemporary Asian Calligraphy will

be open for the final weekend, through Sunday. The exhibition is

presented by the Mook Hyang Calligraphy Society, an association of

Korean-American calligraphers in Orange County, and will be held at

Roses and Butterflies in

2005 -- The Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant -- is

accepting applications from young ladies wishing to be the next Miss

Huntington Beach through today. The pageant, presented by the Women

of Action and Sand Dollars of the Huntington Beach Chamber of

Commerce, is a part of the Miss America Organization. Young women

between the ages of 17 and 24, who live, work or go to school in

Huntington Beach are eligible to apply. Applications are available

from the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and completed
