University.

The senior had but one reception but provided ample blocking on

offense. On defense, he was in on 15 tackles -- a team high for the

night.

Oh, and the only catch he did make, was the “biggie” -- a

touchdown in overtime.

“Again, this guy rose,” Laguna coach Jimmy Nolan said. “He flew

around on defense. He didn’t have many catches on offense, but any

time we ran the ball successfully, it was due to Elliot’s beautiful

blocks. Big time players make big time plays. Eliot is the guy.”
