Charles King

Stanford Charles King, a 45-year resident of Balboa Peninsula,

died on Oct. 27 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was

83.

Mr. King is survived by his daughter Kellee Fitzgeorge and five

grandchildren.

Dennis B. Pickens

Services for Dennis B. Pickens, a longtime Lido Isle resident,

will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church,

600 St. Andrew’s Road in Newport Beach.

Mr. Pickens died on Thursday. He was 80.

Mr. Pickens is survived by his wife, Marion; son Dennis Bruce

Pickens; daughter Alison Louise McCormick; three granddaughters; and

sisters Bernice Jennings and Claire Cunningham.

A reception following the service will be at Lido Isle Yacht Club.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the

Alzheimer’s Assn. or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
