Koll hires a new

director of leasing

Newport Beach-based real estate firm the Koll Company has hired

Charles Aufhammer as director of leasing for multi-tenant buildings.

With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate,

Aufhammer will handle leasing for 1.7 million square feet of light

industrial properties in Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside

counties.

Aufhammer’s previous positions include director of leasing for the

Wohl Investment Company in Irvine and vice president of marketing and

acquisitions for the Olen Commercial Realty Corp. in Newport Beach.

CT Realty invests

in Davis property

CT Realty Corp. in Newport Beach has purchased the Davis Commerce

Center in Davis for $5.45 million. The 58,760-square-foot business

park includes three one-story buildings with 16 suites for office,

manufacturing and warehouse and research uses. The company plans to

invest $450,000 in improving the property, beginning in December.

Upgrades will include painting, outdoor lighting and new signs.

CT Realty is a 10-year-old company that has handled transactions

worth more than $1.5 billion.

Santa Claus, students

are coming to town

Santa Claus is coming to South Coast Plaza on Friday, and he’s

bringing students from Orange County High School of the Arts, who

will lead an interactive performance that ends in a parade to Santa’s

village. The event begins at 2 p.m. in the Jewel Court in front of

Macy’s at South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa. For more
