Favorite golf moment: Hitting her first hole-in-one on Newport

Beach Country Club’s par-3 fourth hole Sept. 7 with husband Bill as a

witness. Holder hit a 7-iron from about 105 yards. She described it

as a fairly low shot that hit the green and rolled straight into the

hole. “I was excited, but to get credit for it, you have to finish at

least nine holes.” Glee overtook Holder almost too much. She said it

was a struggle to keep focus the final five holes of the front nine.
