A memorial service for Mildred Minnie Hartwigsen is scheduled for

1 p.m. Monday at Harbor Lawn-Mount Olive Memorial Park, 1625 Gisler

Ave. in Costa Mesa.

Ms. Hartwigsen, a longtime Costa Mesa resident, died on Nov. 16 of

complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 84.

Ms. Hartwigsen is survived by her son, Lynn; sisters Frieda

Bartsch and Evelyn Sader; brother John Schroeder and two

grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Estelle Fletcher Wilson

A memorial service for Estelle Fletcher Wilson will be at 2 p.m.

Monday at Saint Andrew’s Church, 600 St. Andrews Road in Newport

Beach.

Ms. Wilson, a Newport Beach resident for more than 25 years, died

on Nov. 16 of natural causes. She was 91.

Ms. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Goodell and

Jennifer Merchant, and five grandchildren.

Martha M. Nolan

A memorial service for Martha M. Nolan will be at noon Monday at

the Pacific View Mortuary Chapel, 3500 Pacific View Drive in Corona

del Mar.

Ms. Nolan, an 18-year Corona del Mar resident, died on Nov. 6 of

natural causes. She was 90.

Ms. Nolan is survived by her sons, Jim and John; four

grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Katherine Dorothea Lovatt

Katherine Dorothea Lovatt, a longtime Costa Mesa resident, died on

Nov. 13 of heart disease. She was 84.

Ms. Lovatt is survived by her son, Ronald Lovatt, and two

grandchildren.

Services were Friday at the St. Rosecrans National Cemetery in San

Diego.

Garland Owen Powers

A funeral for Garland Owen Powers will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at

the Riverside National Cemetery.

Mr. Powers, a Costa Mesa resident for 54 years, died on Nov. 8 of

complications from multiple myeloma. He was 83.

Mr. Powers is survived by his wife, Alice, and sons Steven, John

and Lance Powers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations

be made to the Hoag Hospital Foundation, 1 Hoag Drive, Building 44

Box 6100, Newport Beach, CA 92658.

Walter J. Armozi

Walter J. Armozi, a 19-year Costa Mesa resident, died on Nov. 14

of natural causes. He was 89.

Mr. Armozi is survived by his wife, Helen; daughters Virginia

Sheen and Joyce Mirowski; brother John Armozi; six grandchildren and

four great-grandchildren.

Services are private.

Anne Paine Thomas

Anne Paine Thomas, a longtime Newport Beach resident, died on Nov.

11 of natural causes. She was 83.

Ms. Thomas is survived by her daughters, Linda Haynes and Wendy

Thomas-Miyamoto; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mike Swaim

Mike Swaim, former owner of Tool and Dye in Costa Mesa, died on

Nov. 16 at Concordia, Kan. He was 77.

Mr. Swaim is survived by his wife, Betty; sons Doug Swaim and Greg

Wyatt; daughter June Treffer; sister Dorothy Presson; six

grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at the Concordia Wesleyan Church in Kansas.
