Buddy

Buddy is a 1 1/2 -year-old black cat with a white star on his

chest who was adopted just more than a year ago by a disabled woman

who lived in Costa Mesa.

Last week, Community Animal Network received a disturbing call

that described Buddy as having had difficulty breathing for the past

two days.

He ended up at the vet. Vet Joel Pasco detected symptoms of a

heart murmur and lab work showed severe signs of anemia, and he was

hospitalized.

Buddy was released on Monday into custody of Community Animal

Network and is available for adoption.

Buddy’s foster mom says he is an attention seeker, very vocal and

has a great personality.
