A fateful trip, indeed

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a rich, rich

That started from Pelican Hill, aboard -- well, there’s the

trouble.

We don’t yet know what comes next, of course. But this week, we’ll

find out.

Find out what? Whether Glenn and Mindy Stearns, one of two

millionaire couples cast on a reality version of “Gilligan’s Island,”

will end up being the 21st century Howells.

The reality version of the ‘60s sitcom includes challenges on a

deserted island to see who stays and who goes. The teams are the two

sets of everyone: Two Gilligans, two Skippers, two Gingers, two Mary

Anns, two Professors.

Think “Survivor” meets “Lost” meets ... OK, maybe we don’t want to

think about it too hard. We’ll just sit back, enjoy it and root for

our local Thurston and Lovey come Tuesday when they appear on TBS.
