Corona del Mar Plaza will celebrate the holiday season with fun

activities scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The shopping center will provide holiday entertainment, complimentary

gift-wrap and great offers from Corona del Mar Plaza stores.

Complimentary gift-wrap is limited to one gift-wrapped item per

person, per day. Size limitations may also apply.

Three Dog Bakery will host its annual Doggie Photos with Santa

from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Photos cost $12. (949) 760-3647.

Throughout December, strolling carolers will perform on the

weekends from 1 to 6 p.m. Groups performing include the Pacific

Carolers, the Orange County High School of the Arts and the Corona

del Mar High School Madrigal Singers.

Boulevard in Newport Beach.

LINE UP FOR LINEN

For holiday shoppers searching for bargains, there’s a semi-annual

Waterford Linen sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (a second sale

happens in the spring). Sale items includes up to 600-thread count

sheets, silk blend sheets, comforter sets, table linens, placemats

and napkins by Waterford, Wedgewood, Calvin Klein, Liz Claiborne,

Villager and Emeril. There’s also a limited supply of Emeril ceramic

kitchenware. All items reportedly come from the Waterford warehouse,

priced 50% to 75% less than retail.

The sale is at 494 Costa Mesa St. on the corner of Costa Mesa

Street and Irvine Avenue in Costa Mesa.

All tablecloths cost $20; comforter sets (comforter, skirt and two

shams) that retail at $600, are priced at $135. Placemats and napkins

The Chuck Jones Gallery at Fashion Island will hold its annual

Grinch Party from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. The evening includes a

special retrospective collection and never-before-offered artwork
