A funeral service for longtime Costa Mesa resident Mary Holler

Stockton, 91, will be held at noon Thursday at the American Legion

Post in Midway City with a viewing starting at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Stockton will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Stockton was active with the American

Legion and enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends. She

died Dec. 10 from a heart attack.

Mrs. Stockton was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon M.

Stockton, an early Orange County pioneer and blacksmith. She is

survived by her brother, Francis; sons Tom, Mark, Gordon and Tod;

daughters Mary Gale and Sally; and 10 grandchildren.

David McCollum

A funeral service for Newport Beach resident David McCollum will

be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Promontory Point Clubhouse in

Newport Beach.

A financial investor, Mr. McCollum died at his home Dec. 5 from

cancer. He was 77.

Mr. McCollum is survived by wife Zoe; sister Mary; daughters

Laura, Cary and Melissa; son Peter and stepson Richard; stepdaughters

Hedi, Zoe and Rowena; and three grandchildren.
