Six Pirates awarded

Orange Coast College midfielders Taryn Flamson, Sarah Sanchez and

Lindsey Wood have been named first-team All-Orange Empire Conference

by the circuit’s women’s soccer coaches.

In addition, Pirate forwards Elizabeth Terry, Christine Crosson

and Sarah Ronquillo are second-team honorees.

Flamson, a freshman out of Newport Harbor High, scored five goals

and added eight assists for the Pirates (13-5-3), who advanced to the

second round of the Southern California regional playoffs.

Wood, a freshman, scored two goals and added three assists, while

Sanchez, a sophomore, had one goal this season.

Ronquillo, a freshman forward out of Costa Mesa High, scored a

team-leading 13 goals and contributed two assists.
