Tars’ trio earn first-team nods

Newport Harbor High junior Clay Jorth highlights four Sailors named

All-Sea View League by the circuit’s boys water polo coaches.

Jorth, a driver, is a repeat first-team honoree after helping the

Tars finish second to Foothill in league and then advance to the CIF

Southern Section Division I quarterfinals.

Newport Harbor seniors Mike Robinson and Jovan Vranes join Jorth

on the first team. Robinson, a goalkeeper, was a second-team

all-league performer as a junior.

Newport Harbor freshman Nate Castillo, is a second-team honoree.

Foothill High junior J.W. Krumpholz is the league’s Player of the

Year after helping the Knights earn a berth in the Division I title

game.
