Reader dissects the ‘Triangle’ problem

Regarding the Daily Pilot’s question about what can be done to

improve business at Triangle Square, my husband and I have visited

and been customers at Triangle Square for as long as it’s been open,

and we think we know what the problem seems to be.

The parking getting in and out is extremely confusing and

difficult. Some how, you end up on the freeway or in terrible

traffic. Even though you are not going in that direction, you end up

on the wrong street.

How about a hometown restaurant, and some stores that people can

really use?

Sorry to see that things are closing.

The mall’s parking layout is confusing

I think the main problem with Triangle Square is parking. People

don’t like the structure. They get confused when they go in there.

I was thinking about maybe a bridge across to the parking lot,

where Mimi’s Cafe is, where people could park and walk over.

Or somehow, advertise the parking a little bit better, so people

aren’t as uncomfortable pulling in there. I love Triangle Square and

am sorry to see all the problems it continues to have.

Problem parking, plain and simple

I think anybody who uses logic will understand the problem with

Triangle Square is the parking situation.

It would take a lot of effort on the part of the City Council, but

once the parking problem was solved, then we wouldn’t have a problem

with the occupancy at Triangle Square. They’d get a lot more business

immediately.
