The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

Here’s what’s being served this week.

TODAY: Chicken nuggets or munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit

yogurt, jicama sticks with ranch dip, raisins, animal crackers and

choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Teriyaki beef dippers or munchable lunch salad, rice,

crisp green salad with ranch dressing, orange and choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Oscar Meyer all-beef hot dog on a bun or munchable lunch

salad, potato smiles, diced mixed fruit, graham crackers and choice

of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or pasta with marinara sauce and

meatballs, fresh baked whole grain roll, crisp green salad with ranch

dressing, fruit bar and choice of milk.

MONDAY: Sloppy Joe on a bun or munchable lunch salad, veggie

sticks with ranch dip, diced pears, Baked Cheetos, choice of milk.
