What music moves you?

The Laguna Beach Coastline Pilot went to Thurston Middle School and

asked students in the ‘Grease’ cast, ‘What is your favorite music?’

“Michael Jackson, he’s just cool and I like his music. And I like

the Hives because I’m just cool like that.”

“I like Johnny Cash and the Beatles because they bring the rock to

the table.”

“I like pretty much all kinds, except jazz, everything with words.

I like rap and R ‘n’ B for dancing and for just listening, I like

AC/DC, Nirvana and Taking Back Sunday because they actually have

meaning.”

KATELYN FRITZ, 13

“I like Bob Marley because he’s ‘jammin’ in the name of the lord.’

And I like Franz Ferdinand because they really bring up the real

music. It’s not all the inappropriate stuff of today.”

jammin’.”
