The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

Here’s what’s being served this week.

TODAY: Two mini cheeseburgers with lettuce and pickles or

munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt, fruit turnover and

choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or two ground turkey soft

tacos with lettuce, salsa and cheese, California raisins, animal

snackers and choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Galaxy cheese pizza or munchable lunch salad, green

beans, fresh fruit and choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Touchdown chicken nuggets or munchable lunch salad, baby

carrots with ranch dip, diced pears, baked nacho cheese Doritos and

choice of milk.

MONDAY: Sloppy Joe on a bun, munchable lunch salad, veggie sticks

with ranch dip, diced peaches and choice of milk.
