Wings blow by Hurricanes

The Wings came up with a strong defensive effort and had more than

enough offense to record a 3-0 victory over the Hurricanes in an

Adams Division match at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach.

Trent Morsk needed just nine saves to get the shutout.

Leading the Wings’ offense was Robert Becker, who scored twice.

Brett Bennett scored once, and William Brines had an assist.

Tatum Coats posted 13 saves for the Hurricanes.

In other Adams Division action:

Mighty Ducks 2, Sharks 0

With its defense putting up a fight, the Mighty Ducks were able to

take away the bite of the Sharks.

Christopher Kao got the win on nine saves.

Nolan Strout had 15 saves for the Sharks.

HB Surf 3, Kings 2

Hector Tepayotl scored a pair of unassisted goals as HB Surf edged

the Kings.

Jake Arnold scored off a Ian Gibbons feed to complete the scoring

for HB Surf.

Austin Koss scored both goals -- each unassisted -- for the Kings.

Travis Williams had nine saves.
