The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

Here’s what’s being served this week.

TODAY: Teriyaki beef dippers or munchable lunch salad with Yoplait

fruit yogurt, rice, crisp green salad with ranch dressing, California

raisins and choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Macaroni and cheese or munchable lunch salad, crunchy

cucumber slices with ranch dip, fresh fruit and choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Dog-gone chick’n sandwich on a bun or chicken Caesar

salad, potato smiles, diced pears, chocolate animal crackers and

choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Bean and cheese burrito or munchable lunch salad, peas,

applesauce and choice of milk.

MONDAY: Valentine chicken nuggets or munchable lunch salad, jicama

sticks with ranch dip, peach cup, valentine cookies and choice of

milk.
