VALENTINE’S DAY, WITH WORDS

A love poetry feature and community poetry contest with poets Lee

Mallory and Ricki Mandeville will begin at 8 p.m. tonight at the Alta

Coffee House, 506 31st St., Newport Beach.

Sign-ups for the contest begin at 7:15 p.m. Competition will be

limited to the first 10 entrants. There will be a $3 fee to compete.
