Newport Beach Country Club members can enter a drawing for tee times

at area courses during Toshiba week March 14-20.

Members can sign up in the pro shop for a drawing that will be

held March 8, Newport Beach Country Club head professional Paul Hahn

said. Golfers may be selected only once and they are not allowed to

enter their names for every course.

Participating courses include Mesa Verde, Santa Ana, Big Canyon

and El Niguel. Hahn said Newport returns the favor when other clubs

conduct tournaments throughout the year.

Goodwill of Orange County’s annual golf tournament will he held at

Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast June 9.

The 144-player field is sold out to golfers, but sponsorship and

underwriting opportunities are available, ranging from $500 to

$25,000.

Proceeds from the event support Goodwill’s education, training and

employment services that help people with disabilities get the

training they need to be successful at home, school and work.
