A memorial service for former Costa Mesa resident George Fujita

will be held Feb. 26 at 3:30 p.m. at Harbor Lawn Mt. Olive Memorial

Park.

Fujita, who was born in Auburn, Wash., spent 48 years in Orange

County. He was a retired quality-control engineer in the aerospace

industry. Fujita died Feb. 19 of pneumonia. He was 79.

Fujita is survived by his wife, Shizuko Fujita; his brothers,

Frank Fujita and Nobu Fujita; his sisters, Sue Fujino, Vaeko Namba,

Kim Vano, Toshiko Uchida, and Tome Koga; his daughter, Victoria

Tsukhara; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mamie Pinello

A memorial service for former Orange County resident Mamie Pinello

will be at 2 p.m. March 5 at Costa Newporte.

Pinello, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, was a retired

bookkeeper. She died Feb. 20 of natural causes. She was 92.

Pinello is survived by her sister, Letty Racco; her sons, Robert

Pinello and Stephen Pinello; three grandchildren; and one

great-grandchild.

Catherine Schniepp

A memorial service for former Newport Beach resident Catherine

Schniepp was held Thursday at Pacific View Memorial Park.

Schniepp, who was born in Seattle, lived in Newport Beach for 85

years. She died Feb. 20 of natural causes. She was 92.

Schniepp is survived by her son, Gary Schniepp; her daughter, Ann

Bozigian; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Delores Tudor

A private memorial service for former Costa Mesa resident Delores

Tudor is pending.

Tudor, a homemaker who was born in Huntington Beach, spent the

majority of her life in Costa Mesa. She died Feb. 18 of congestive heart failure while visiting her son, Steven Tudor, in New Mexico.

She was 88.

Tudor is survived by her sisters, Carman Saez, Josephine Kesel,

Connie Schroeder and Rose Harris; her brother, Joe Muniz; her son,

Steven Tudor; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
