Desert Horizon’s 165-yard 16th hole using her driver ... Thought the

ball went in the rough to the right of the green and spent about five

minutes looking for it ... Decided to look in the hole as a joke and

realized she had a hole-in-one ... Hit her first hole-in-one at

Rancho San Joaquin in 1993 on the second hole in front of about eight

people ... Former graphic artist designs and paints Newport Beach

Country Club’s posters for upcoming tournaments ... Occasionally

still does calligraphy for wedding invitations, but is retired ...
