A memorial service for former Orange County resident Frances

Strickler will be between 3 and 5 p.m. Sunday at Regent’s Point in

Irvine.

Born in Smithville, Texas, Mrs. Strickler lived in Orange County

for 28 years, where she was a homemaker. She died Feb. 22 of cancer.

She was 88.

Mrs. Strickler is survived by her husband, Paul Strickler, her

sister, Joan Johnson; her brother, Charles Lee; her daughters, Linda

O’Connor, Susan Salay and Kathleen Mahoney; six grandchildren, and

seven great-grandchildren.

Arleine E. Weller

A memorial service for former Costa Mesa resident Arleine E.

Weller will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Pacific View Chapel.

Born in Nebraska, Mrs. Weller lived in Costa Mesa for 43 years.

She died March 1 of natural causes. She was 83.

Mrs. Weller is survived by her sister, La Vonne Bodwin; her

daughter, Vicki K. Harris; four grandchildren and one

great-grandchild.
