Wings soar across rink in 5-0 win

Robert Becker scored two goals and the Wings went on the defensive in

recording a 5-0 victory over the Blackhawks in an Adams Division

match at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Becker scored consecutive goals to take the Wings from a 1-0 lead

into a 3-0 advantage in the second period.

Mark Ellis, Dylan Palmer and William Brines each scored once, and

Palmer had an assist.

Trent Morsk got the shutout on 12 saves.

Jonathan Cooper had 27 saves for the Blackhawks.

In other Adams Division action:

Kings 3, Mighty Ducks 2

Goals by Austin Koss and John Keegan helped the Kings outscore the

Mighty Ducks, 2-0, in the final period, and pull out the win.

It was the second goal of the match for Keegan, whose first period

goal had given the Kings a 1-0 lead.

Corey Childers had an assist and Travis Williams had eight saves.

Trevor Cappon and Ismael Ralsten each scored and Christopher Kao

had 17 saves for the Mighty Ducks.

Sharks 3, HB Surf 3

The Sharks’ Brent Rivera posted two goals to lead all scorers as

the teams fought to a tie.

Samantha Stringer had the other goal for the Sharks, and Nolan

Strout finished with 18 saves.

The offense for the HB Surf consisted of goals by Joel Steele,

Aaron Maccabi and Hector Tepayotl.
