Plein Aire Painting for all levels: Enjoy a wonderful afternoon

painting the Back Bay with family and friends. The front patio of the

Interpretive Center provides a beautiful setting with panoramic

views. Jean Marie will demonstrate and present traditional Plein Aire

techniques and you’ll return home with your completed original oil

painting. If it rains, we’ll move indoors and paint from photographs.

All materials are provided. Cost is $15 per child, ages 8 to 18 and

$20 per adult. Lessons will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Peter and Mary

Muth Interpretive Center, 2301 University Dr., Newport Beach.

The UCI Libraries’ Speaker Series presents author Walter B. Stahr
