Architect gets promotion at Newport Beach firm

Architect Jason Briscoe was named an associate at Robbins

Jorgensen Christopher, an architecture company with offices in

Newport Beach and San Diego. Briscoe, who joined the firm’s Newport

Beach office in 2001, is the company’s creative director.

Briscoe’s duties include improvement projects at Corona del Mar

State Beach.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University

of Kansas.

Costa Mesa company is a finalist for software award

Technology firm SysPro announced it was named as a finalist for

the Software Council of Southern California’s Software Company of the

Year award. The firm’s United States office is in Costa Mesa. The

company was named the winner of that award in 2004.

SysPro’s products include software designed for supply-chain

management.

The winner of the award will be announced March 31.
