The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose

a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TUESDAY: Munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt or

chicken and bean tostada, lettuce, salsa and cheese, frozen 100%

fruit juice bar, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Oriental chicken salad with fresh baked whole grain

roll or two mini cheese- burgers, lettuce and pickles, California

raisins; choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Munchable lunch salad or Dog-Gone Chick’n sandwich on a

bun, potato smiles, diced peaches, fresh-baked cookie, choice of

milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or bean and cheese burrito, veggie

sticks with ranch dip, fresh fruit, all star cookies, choice of milk.
