KATHLEEN L. SHELLEY

A private memorial service for former Balboa resident Kathleen

Shelley will be held Friday at her son’s residence.

Born in San Bernardino, Mrs. Shelley spent 15 years in Balboa,

where she was a retired accounting bookkeeper. Mrs. Shelley died

March 28 of congestive heart failure. She was 79.

Mrs. Shelley is survived by her son, Curtis Wayne Shelley; her

daughter-in-law, Lynne Irene Shelley; and one grandchild.

BARBARA MCDERMONT LEWIS

A memorial service for former Newport Beach resident Barbara Lewis

will be held at 2:30 p.m. April 9 at Pacific View Chapel.

Born in Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Lewis lived in Newport Beach for 34

years, where she was a homemaker. Mrs. Lewis died March 19 of natural

causes. She was 92.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Frank Lewis; her sons,

Gregg and Robert McDermont; her daughter, Lynne Halley; and six

grandchildren.
