A Spring Teen Camp for Costa Mesa teens in the 7th, 8th and 9th

grades, sponsored by the City of Costa Mesa Recreation Division, will

show teens they can have fun with supervision at Disneyland and

Castle Park. Register at the Downtown Recreation Center, 1860 Anaheim

Ave., Costa Mesa. Cost is $40 for Disneyland, $25 for Castle Park.

Choose one or both trips. Registration will continue until the camp

is full, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information:

Toddler Time: “What Animals Live Here?” Story time and hands-on

fun in a parent-child learning experience about the animals that live

in Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve. It will be held from 10:30 to

11:15 a.m. at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center, 2301

University Dr., Newport Beach. Cost is $5 per child, ages 3 & 4. Call

APRIL 7

Crazy Crustaceans, with “Dr. Sue: The Bug Lady” and live

crustaceans from her traveling arthropod zoo. Event will be held from

6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center, 2301

University Dr., Newport Beach. Cost is $10 per child, ages 5 & up.
