Schmidt-Merritt

Heidi Schmidt and Patrick Merritt, both of Newport Beach,

exchanged vows on the yacht Royal Princess in Newport Beach on March

19.

The bride is the daughter of William and Roberta Schmidt of

Newport Beach. She wore a cream-colored silk sheath with an overlay

of intricately beaded cream sheer chiffon. The maid of honor was Amy

Schoen. The bridesmaids were Julie Alai and Kami Bryant.

The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Noral Merritt of Harford,

Conn. The best man was Richard Merritt. The ushers were Patrick

McGrath and Jason Morrin.

The reception took place aboard the Royal Princess with 60 guests

in attendance. The couple spent their honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii.

They plan to live in Newport Beach. The bride works at Hoag Hospital

and the groom works at Merritt Co.

Miller-Hill

David and Debbie Miller of Newport Beach announce the engagement

of their daughter, Meredith Miller of Newport Beach, to Bradley Hill

of Newport Beach.

The bride-elect graduated from Newport Harbor High School.

The future bridegroom, son of Rush and Linda Hill of Newport

Beach, graduated from Newport Harbor High School and plans to

graduate in June from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

An August 6, 2005, wedding is planned at the Sutton Place Hotel in

Newport Beach.
