The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt or two soft

tacos (ground turkey), lettuce, salsa and cheese, fresh fruit, animal

snackers, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Munchable lunch salad or mozzarella cheese dippers with

marinara sauce, broccoli flowerettes with ranch dip, diced peaches,

munchies kid mix, choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or pasta with marinara sauce

and meatballs, crisp green salad with ranch dressing, fresh baked

whole grain roll, Tree Top flat fruit, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or two mini cheeseburgers, lettuce

and pickles, frozen 100% fruit juice bar, choice of milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or chicken nuggets, paulie peas,

fresh fruit, chocolate animal crackers, choice of milk.
