The semifinals are set for the annual President’s Cup at Santa Ana

Country Club.

Ned Khorey and John Younkin will compete in one semifinal -- an

18-hole match-play event -- while the other duel will feature Bud

Clark, who claimed the 70 and older division of the club’s

senior-stroke play championship in December, against Brad Riba.

Golfers schedule a time to play and have until Saturday to

complete their respective semifinal matches. April 23 is the deadline

for the final. The event started in March with 46 golfers, Director

of Golf Mike Reehl said.

Handicaps are taken into account.

Debbie Albright of Newport Beach Country Club appeared in an ad

for Cleveland Golf in the January-February issue of “Golf for Women”

magazine.

In the ad, Albright, who has won nine straight women’s club

titles, is holding a club and peering down the fairway after a young

boy in the group hits a shot.

Beneath the photo reads, “You know what they say, the family that

crushes the ball together, stays together.”

Albright has two teenage children, Katie and Charlie, and is

married to husband Joch.

She also appeared in a Cleveland ad in the January-February 2004

issue of “Golf for Women.”
