JOHN E. GIORDANI

A memorial service for former Newport Beach resident John E.

Giordani is 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in

Newport Beach.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Mr. Giordani was a resident of Orange

County for nearly 20 years. He was a first-generation

Italian-American and served as a lieutenant in the Army. He was a

certified public accountant and later an executive vice president at

ICN Pharmaceuticals in Costa Mesa.

Mr. Giordani died April 17 at the age of 62. He is survived by his

wife, Margaret Giordani; his sons, John, Justin and Joseph Giordani;

his brother, Peter Giordani; and his sister, Rita.
