CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH BOARD VACANCIES

The Newport Beach City Council is looking for qualified electors

from the city of Newport Beach who are interested in serving for a

four-year term on various city boards and commissions. A total of 11

vacancies will exist when current terms expire on June 30. The

vacancies are as follows: board of library trustees -- one vacancy;

city Arts Commission -- three vacancies; civil service board -- one

vacancy; Harbor Commission -- two vacancies; Parks, Beaches and

Recreation Commission -- two vacancies; and Planning Commission --

two vacancies. he deadline for filing applications is 4 p.m. on May
