Our Mom is the greatest of all time. She is always there for us

24-7. Our school lunches are always the best in our class, and she is

at our bedside every night to say prayers before we go to sleep.

Either on vacation somewhere or just down on the beach at El Morro,

she’s the funnest to be with. We just love her so much!!!

Our mom is great because she is always there for us when we need

her. She helps us with homework and important decisions regarding

school. She makes us dinner after she works all day. She supports us

in everything we do and is our rock during difficult times. She puts

our needs before her own. We are so blessed to have her as our mom.

We love you mom! Happy Mother’s Day!

ASHLEY AND SKYLAR JACOBS

*

My mom is the best mom in the world. She has six kids, including

two teenagers and a baby. I think having two teenagers makes it a

billion times harder. The baby runs away, climbs ladders and stairs,

sits on the table, opens cabinets and doors, plays the piano, types

on the computer and does whatever she can get away with and my mom

has to chase her around. I love my mom and think she is the best.

CADEN STARK

*

My mom is great because she had to go through hours of gruesome

pain while she was giving birth to me. And even though she was in

pain, she still loves me. Another reason why my mom is so wonderful

is because although we get in fights and she screams at me, in the

end we always end up hugging each other. My mom always understands

me, and when I mess up, she always forgives me. I can tell her

everything that is on my mind and she never judges me.

But to me the No. 1 reason why my mom is so great is because while

I was practicing to run the L.A. Marathon, she was always there to

support me. And when I needed to get a ride to practice, she would

give up the only time she had to sleep to drive me there and to make

sure I finished the run. This meant a lot because she had two jobs,

and she worked day and night. When I crossed the finish line and

finally finished running those dreadful 26.2 miles, she was there to

make sure I was OK. So now you see why I love my mom so much. I don’t

love her because of the things she gives me, but because of the love

she has for me and because I know that she will always be there for

me. And when I turn around, she will be there.

With all my love,

MELINA CORIA, 13

*

We have, quite possibly, the world’s greatest mother! Our mom has

always been incredibly positive, supportive and open minded. Somehow,

our devoted and selfless mother has always been able to work full

time and still attend all swim meets, track invitationals and piano

lessons. We believe our mom is undoubtedly the single-most important

reason that we have grown up to be such happy, successful and

well-adjusted adults. For this Mother’s Day, we would like to say

thank you for being our mom. Your life and decisions are an excellent

model for us to follow.

We love you so much,

CINDY, MELANIE AND ANDY

*

My mother is the most beautiful woman I know. She’s there for me

when I need her, and she’s by my side in everything I do. She’s my

best friend and the best friend of just about every teenager we know

-- she cares for them, and they come to her with their problems, and

she helps them through their rough times. We laugh together, cry

together, sing along with Broadway musicals in the car together ...

She’s everything I have.

Thank you for everything, Mom. I love you more than anything in

the world, to the moon and back a million times, to infinity and

beyond.

Love your little girl,

YOUR CUPPYCAKE

*

We love our Mom (Gabriella Duncan) because:

She makes us Egg Dip-Its with Toast for dinner (not very often

though).

She takes us on walks right before bedtime, even though she is the

only one walking while we are all in the red wagon screaming for her

to go faster.

She comes to school and helps out in our class no matter how busy

she is.

She would rather make our Halloween costumes than buy them at the

store.

She loves our Daddy.

She believes that early morning is snuggle time, and Sunday Night

is Movie Night.

She will let us listen to the same annoying Disney song seven

times in a row in the car.

She teaches us how to behave like young gentlemen, but also

encourages us to put our underwear on our head if that will really

make the costume.

She knows that a Hug is sometimes all we need.

She makes life for us and Daddy fun and makes our home the best

place to be!

Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!

Love,

RIGSBY, JADEN AND BRAHAM DUNCAN

free time. Sometimes she pops out from behind a door, scares me, then

hugs me. It sorta gives me the quivers. But she always helps me. My

favorite part about my mom is that she is always there for me.

Whenever I’m in danger, she is there. Whenever I need help she is

my mom!

NICK MEIER

My mother, Debbie Marchegiano, is the finest mother around. She is

a person that everyone enjoys to be around and is probably the best

mom in Orange County. In my eyes, at least. She has three kids that

are so special to her and she drops anything to do for her kids. She

works so hard to support us kids. We all go to college and work and

still live at home, believe or not. So she spends her time helping us

instead of doing for herself. My mom is so special to us kids because

she thinks about us before her job, her boyfriend and her life. We

have gone through rough times, but she always seems to have a smile

on her face to make us kids know that everything is going to be OK.

My mom lost her mom, Peggy Ward, about four years ago and she does

miss her a lot. It would mean a lot to me if you would put this

letter in the Daily Pilot to show my mom that we do appreciate

everything she does for us and want to wish her the best Mother’s Day

any kids can give her. And to wish my Grandma Peggy a happy Mother’s

Day also. Rest in peace, Grandma Peggy. We miss you.

For My Mother, Pauline M. Carlson

I was shocked to learn that they were still holding Mother’s Day

this year. Didn’t anyone hear that my mother had died in August? It

was an absurd thought, I know, but allowed when one is still in the

process of coming to terms with the idea that one no longer has a

mother. I am a psychoanalyst, and if anyone should know that we hold

our mother inside our minds and hearts forever, it is I. Yet in

another realm of time, the sense that I no longer have a mother is

very real.

Several days before she died, she looked up at my sad eyes and

said, “You know I can’t live forever, babe.” Her words awakened the

little girl in me, jolted me. I thought, What? Of course you can. She

was 82, raised 4 thriving children, lived in marriage 61 years and

was grandmother to seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

It seems appropriate to respond to your request for essays about

mothers, since I am more aware of my mother this Mother’s Day than

perhaps ever before.

Several bits of wisdom have come from this loss, and in tribute to

her I wanted to share them.

It is one thing to be a mother and another thing to have a mother.

To be a mother is to hold the bond with one’s baby, child,

adolescent, adult inside oneself as one holds cherished memories. No

one else knows the curves and coos, the nighttime embrace as life is

formed between the two. This earliest dance belongs to the “reverie”

a mother carries in her heart all her life. She knows the secret of

her child’s beginnings, a secret held in her body and in her

unconscious.

To have a mother is to be held in that secret place, of being

known from one’s beginnings. It is not surprising then that several

weeks after my mother died, I had a dream and awoke with the

following refrain:

“Somewhere between my mother and a part of me, is a child who is

lost for eternity.”

The one thing that every human being on the planet shares is that

we all have been born of a mother. The way in which each of us thinks

of our mother varies as human beings vary. If we are lucky, we have

experienced enough of her benevolent presence to pause today to honor

our love for her and to value her as holder of the “secret of our

beginnings.”

Sincerely,

JUDITH VAN DIXHORN, Ph.D.

My mom is great for her unconditional love and encouragement, even

when the going gets tough. She’s a woman that I can always depend on.

No matter what bad things my siblings and I have done, she never

gives up on us and always looks to the brighter side in life. She’s

the kind of person, that after I come home from a hard day at school,

she gives me hope, for there is still a tomorrow.

My mom, Mary Ann Rector, is the kind of mother that every son

would want. She is kind, patient, generous, and when we walk into a

room, they think she is my date. Like wow! Great looks too!

Moreover, after my loving stepfather, Charles, passed away, she

totally made it on her own as an enterprising entrepreneur in real

estate.

I love her so -- a really fantastic lady!

THANKS MOM

My mom is a great mom because she has always been there for my

sisters and me. My mom has provided everything we ever needed without

ever putting herself first. She raised my oldest sister and me by

herself and did an amazing job. She put my sister through college and

she has been helping me through high school right now. My mom

deserves way more than an article in the newspaper for all the

sacrifices she has made for us, but this is just a small token of my

appreciation of her. I love her, and I am forever grateful.

Her daughter,

SABRINA McFALL

My mother is so great because of all of the hard work and love she

puts into my life. My mom works as a flight attendant and works very

hard and somehow she can fit me into her busy, busy schedule. She has

my friends over on Fridays, she takes me to dinner during the week

and sometimes she even plays basketball with me (and she’s really

good). My most favorite thing is when we went to Rome. It was so much

fun!!! My mom helps me with my homework, which really improves my

grades. My mom also helps me study for tests.

All I want to say is that I love my mom with all of my heart!!!!!

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following are messages from Jennifer Moreno’s

seventh-grade English classes at TeWinkle Middle School in Costa

Mesa.

My mom isn’t great; she’s way more than that! My mom isn’t

outstanding, fabulous or anything like that, she’s way better than

words. I don’t think there are any words to describe her. I LOVE MY

MOM! She has been there for me all the time.

My mom is basically the one person that really took care of me.

She was that person who loved you, fed you and always took care of

you. My mom always knows how to cheer me up. Even if I get mad at

her, I can’t stay mad at her for a long time.

I LOVE MY MOM!

IRMA JIMENEZ

My mom is the best mom a kid could have because she is loving,

trustworthy, caring and kind. She is loving because when something is

putting me down, she helps me get through it. She does not scrutinize

me if I do something wrong. She is trusting because if something

happens, she is not quick to judge me. She is caring because she

tends to me when I get hurt. When I do something wrong, she is strict

but fair. But most of all, she is my mom, my birth mother, and I love

her.

Sincerely,

KODY J. BAKOS

My mom is great. My mom is great because she always comforts me

when I’m sad, and I know I can talk to her about anything and she

won’t laugh at me. My mom is great because she cares about my grades

and is always willing to help no matter how busy she is. My mom is

great because she is my best friend. My mom is great.

Sincerely,

NATHANIEL CAMPBELL

I think my mom is great for many reasons. One reason is because of

her personality. She is really nice and can help you when you have a

problem. Another reason is that she will care for you a lot even if

she doesn’t know you, like if your car had a flat tire. She would

pull over and help you.

My last reason that my mom is great is she gives a lot. She gives

money to people who need it. She will be your friend. She will try to

help you any way she can. That’s why I think my mom is great.

ROGER CACHO

Dear Mom,

Mom, you are the greatest ever. You always help me with problems

and give me good advice. You support me with school and help me with

my goals. You always take good care of me and make sure I am healthy.

You help me when I am sick and stayed with me through my back

surgery. You do anything for me when I need care. You are the best

leader I have, and you are a successful asset in my life. You

encourage me to do my best and try hard. You make sure I am doing

well and push me to succeed. You make me happy when I am sad and give

me a positive life. So thank you Mom for all you do for me. This is a

small way to return the favor.

Love,

OLIVIA MILTON

My mom is so great. Well, she’s my mom. She gave me life, and I

love her for it. She was always there for me till I was 10 years old,

then she moved to Idaho, but she still is the best. Every time I

needed help with something, she was there. When I was little and got

a cut, she was there for me. My mom is the greatest mom in the world.

WILLIAM ENGLISH

My mom is so great for so many reasons. She is always there for me

whenever I need help or advice. She has done so many things for me,

and I love her so much for that. I appreciate everything she does

every day and have always admired her. My mom means a lot to me and

always will. My mom has taught me so many important things that I

will remember forever. I just want to say thank you, and I love you,

Mom!

Love,

KRISTEN MCCORMACK

My mom is the best because she is always there (guaranteed!). My

mom is the best because she loves me (I think ... ). My mom is the

best because she buys me food, she buys me clothes and she buys me

anything I need (because my dad won’t set foot in a store). My mom is

the best because she gives me courage and hope when I can’t find it

(thanks). My mom is the best. She makes me smile. Overall, my mom is

the best because she just is.

RAMON CALDERON

My mom is great because she is my birth giver. My mom is terrific

because she has fed me ever since I was born. My mom is great because

she is nice, kind, fun and friendly. My mom is nice because she gives

a lot of money to the poor. My mom is kind because she does stuff we

want to do. My mom is fun because she takes me to the beach and to

the movies. My mom is friendly because she is nice and kind to

everyone. I think my mom is the greatest mom ever because she does so

much for me and my brother and sister. There are so many words and

feelings I want to say about my mom, but that would take centuries.

So I can only say my mom is wonderful, great, terrific, kind, nice,

friendly, extraordinary, marvelous, remarkable and courageous.

From,

MICHAEL ESFAHANI, 12

I love my mom because she is great. She does a lot of things like

work and watch my sister and me. Somehow my mom is able to watch me,

cook for me and buy things for me. But that’s not all. She also does

things for my sister, dad and our two dogs. Mom, I don’t know how you

do it, but all I want to say is thank you.

CHASE HARRISON

My mom’s smile can light up the darkest of days. She can help me

get through any conflicts. She has always backed me up. My mom has

always been at my side through days when I’m down. She tends to me

when I’m sick. She is a good friend to many for all of these traits.

Not only is she nice, but whenever I need a friend, I have her. She

will help me with sports. She drives to wherever I need to be. For

these reasons, I love my mom.

COLIN KINCAID

HEY MOM!

Hey! I wonder why my mom is so great! I know millions of reasons

why my mom is so great. She LOVES me even after all the bad things I

do. She takes care of me, even if I talk back. She feeds me with

whatever she has. She puts a coat on my back, even if it means she

has to take it off of her own back.

Now! Why should I wonder why is my mom so great? I don’t know! My

mom is a single mom living with five kids. She has to feed them, give

them shelter and put clothes on them. Hey, every mom is a great mom;

one big reason why is she gave birth to you. She is the only person

that is going to love you for the rest of your life. I know my mom is

a great person even if she tries to hide it.

JULIE ANAYAS

I think my mom is the best because she works really hard at work

and then comes home and does the dishes and cleans up after me. She

is always at my baseball and basketball and football games and cheers

me on. I also think my mom is the best because she always helps me

with my homework. My mom and I will play catch before a game to get

me ready to play and warm up my arm. My mom cheers me on when I am

pitching. I love my mom, and that is why I think she is the best mom.

JUSTIN BOSECKER

My mother is so great that I can’t even describe her greatness.

When I was a baby, she had a big responsibility to do. For example,

giving me milk, changing my diapers and putting me to sleep when I

woke up in the middle of the night. I think nobody can do the same

job as what a mother can do. Nobody will love you more than your

mother. The love my mom gives is infinite. Another special thing

about my mom is that she will always, but I mean always, will be

there for me. The last thing I want to say about my mom is that I

love her.

Happy Mother’s Day!

RICHARD RAMIREZ

Great things about mothers:

The great thing about mothers is that they will always be there

for you. They will be there in the good times and bad times. They

might get mad but will always be there. They will also listen to you

better than your best friend. They will always be more than a mom.

Your mom is so great that they feed you until you grow up. They are

so great that you can’t explain.

ISABEL SOTELO

Because she really cares a lot about us. The great thing about my

mom is that a lot of people know her. My mom is so great because when

we need something, she always has it, no matter what, even some

things that we need without us knowing. Another great thing about my

mom is that she is a great cook, and everybody loves the food that

she makes. So when people come to visit, the first thing they ask mom

is, “What are we eating?” or “What did you make for us to eat today?”

Even though my mom is mean, it is because she is really

protective. Also because she wants us to be safe. This is why my mom

is so great to our family and me.

DAISY MARTINEZ

I don’t live with my mom, but I visit her every other weekend. She

has three other kids. She takes us to the beach a lot. She is the

only parent that supports me playing football. She also takes us to

the skate park.

My mom has blond hair and brown eyes. She’s Swedish, Irish,

Polish, German, English and Scottish. Me and my brothers love her.

She loves us.

WILLIAM WEDGEWORTH

My mom is great because she’s a great cook. She may be mean, but

she’s very protective. She takes care of our family. She always,

well, sometimes gives me money. That’s why she’s great, he he.

JOSE RAMIREZ

This is my gift to my mom for all the things she’s done for me. I

might not give her an easy time or my brothers, but she pulls

through. She has to take us to different cities to make us happy. She

goes to work early to just spend time with us for an hour. Then on

the weekends, she has to clean the house, but she still does it so we

can live a happy life.

She has brown-black hair, brown eyes and white skin. We’re

Mexicans and we’re Muslims, that’s a religion. My dad’s Egyptian, so

that’s how we became Muslim, but I have Muslim blood anyway. I like

to say that anyway. My mom is a great person. She thinks of other

people and respects everyone she knows and meets.

BRYAN RUIE

My mom is so great because she gives me a home.

When I’m feeling down, I know I’m not alone.

She’s right there with me in my time of need.

That’s why when she asks me for a favor, she doesn’t have to

plead.

When I get grounded, she has a good reason, though I get off until

the next season.

She’s also great because she cares for me.

She loves me very much, as you can see.

She works from morning until night.

And when she comes home, me and my sister are always in a fight.

Though she’s fed up with our fighting, she manages to stay cool.

That’s why we respect her and don’t play her as a fool.

My mom is so great because she supports my sister and I.

She’s like an angel sent from up high.

RODOLFO DELGADO

I’m glad having my mom because she is giving me another baby

brother or sister, even though I have three other brothers! She is

great because she is the best mom a kid like me could ever have. Here

or there, I will always love my mom 4 the rest of my life. My mom

will always have a place in my heart full of love! No one or anything

can replace a great mom like mine! No matter if your mom gets mad at

you 4 anything you do, she will always love you. If she gets mad,

it’s because she is trying 2 make you understand what you did wrong!

It doesn’t matter how mad your mom is, or if she punishes you. That’s

how moms are. But remember, your mom will always love you, no matter

what.

Happy Mother’s Day!

My mom is so great because she loves me. If my mom didn’t love me,

she wouldn’t have fed me when I was small. My mom is great because

she grounds me when I do dumb things. My mom is cool because she

cares for other people. Another reason why my mom is great is that

she cares for me and my family. The best thing about her is that she

gives me what I want.

ALDO CASTILLO

Dear Daily Pilot,

My mom is the best because she works two jobs and takes care of me

and four other kids (my siblings). I have three sisters and one

brother. She supports all of us with her money. She is loving and

kind and all the above. Everyone loves my mom.

This shows how much I care for my mom. I really love her and if I

don’t win, I still have my mom. My mom does everything for us. She

raised me to be kind to everyone and to stand up for myself and to

stay in school and to get good grades. I love my mom, as you can

tell. But thanks for listening.

ALEXANDRA ROMANOSKY

I’m talking about how my mom is great. My mom is great for many

reasons. One is, she is the one who gave birth to me. Two is, she

supports me with food and anything that I want. My mom’s great for

being there whenever I need her. That’s why my mom I great to me. I’m

happy when my mom comes home every day from work just to see me.

That’s great. These are the reasons why my mom is great.

PETER MARTINEZ

My mom’s so great because she’s so giving. She gives so much. If

someone asks her for something, she’ll give it, especially to our

family and friends. When she goes to heaven, she’ll be rewarded so

much. She would rather give than receive.

Another thing is that she is so loving and so nice. She cares a

lot about me and my brother. My mom is so awesome and very nice. She

loves all her family and friends.

ANTHONY MONTOYA

Reasons why I love my mom:

My mom puts up with me when I’m doing bad in school. Sometimes I

don’t listen to her, but she still loves me. I may be a very bad kid,

but my mom still loves me. She listens to what I have to say, even

when I’m in trouble. My mom still loves me no matter what happens.

Even if I do something really bad or do something to disappoint my

mom, I still and will always love my mom.

AGUSTIN PONCE

My mother is always there to help me on my problems! Since the day

I was born until this point, my mother has done so much 4 me in my

life! She’s always there when I need her, even though there are

problems that we have been through throughout time! I think my mom is

great, not just the word great, but REALLY GREAT! My mom has to put

up with me when I make a really big mistake! There’s no one else

better than my mom in my life!!! Even though we have tiffs between

each other, we will still be talking because my mom is always on my

side, and I’m always on her side!!! My mom can be mean sometimes; my

mom can be nice sometimes! No matter how she is, she is the best she

can be! I really thank God that I have the mother I have now!!! My

mom is the bomb! Even though there’s tons of things that she can’t

handle all by herself, I can go and talk with her about things that

pass by in life! But no matter what she says, or what she does, she

is always the first one in my life, so she is really GREAT!

PALOMA JIMENEZ

Why my mother is special to me. My mother is like a goddess to me

because she gives me everything I want and she takes really good care

of me when it’s bad times and when it’s good times. My mom is so

special to me because she is the one who gave birth to me. How I

would describe my mom is that she is a hard working person. Without

my mom, I would never be this intelligent and never be here.

So I am very thankful with my mom. I am glad to be her son. So

thank you for everything you’ve given me, and I am very appreciative

of her.

P.S. My mom’s the best mom ever, so thank you.

ELIAS GARCIA RAMIREZ

Why my mom is so great is that she works a lot. She cleans the

house a lot. She is a very nice person. She does things for me. She

reminds me of things. She takes me to places. She gives me some

money. She buys me things without asking. She buys food for us and

sometimes snacks. She cooks for us. She takes me to the theater. She

takes me to get haircuts. She pushes me to do things I need to do.

She encourages me every day. She tries to make me feel good. She

likes me the way I am.

ANTHONY LARA

On February 17, 1969, the most important person in the world was

born. That’s my mother. My mother’s name is Madai Millan. On 1983’s

New Year’s Eve, my parents got married. In 1992, I was born, but my

mother had cancer. She was willing to risk her own life for me. I am

grateful and thankful to have an excellent mother like her. Today, my

mother is 36 with a 20-year-old son and an 18-year-old daughter and

an eight-year-old daughter and me. She has been married 21 1/2 years

with my father. My mom is very special.

ERIKA MILLAN

Dear Mom,

I love my mom. She cooks very good things. I think she is the best

mom in the whole world. She loves me and my brother. My mom is so

nice with all the people. She helps little poor kids by giving them

money and food or clothes. My mom cares for all the people.

My mom takes good care of us. She likes to help us in our

homework. My mom always asks us about what did we eat in school and

if I did a good job. She is always worried about us when we are in

school. That’s why I love my mom a lot and think she is the best mom

in the world.

JOSE JUAN RODRIGUEZ

Dear Mom,

I love you with all my heart and I feel thankful to be your

daughter. I’m thankful for all the pain I put you through. There’s no

words I could say to let you know how much I love you. I appreciate

everything you do for me. I thank you for taking me through, even

when my dad decided to leave.

I love you for helping me while I was growing. You loved me even

when we had fights. You were there to watch my back. There’s nothing

I could say to thank you, although this paper may content you. That’s

why I love you, my mom.

Love always,

RAQUEL ARIAS

To: My mom Maria,

Why is my mom the best mom in the world? I’ll tell you why. She is

the best mom in the world because she always takes care of us when we

are sick. She never hits us. She will buy us things before she does

anything for herself. She will try to find the best way for us to

live happily. She has to work the whole day and then goes to night

school and takes care of us. She never has any time for herself. For

me, my mom is Super Mom because she can handle any problem. I just

want you to know how much I love you.

DENISE MENDOZA

My mother is the girl I want to be when I grow up. She helps

people find homes that they want. She is the girl that helps me with

my needs. She makes me feel love and she is always there for me. She

is the one that comforts me. My mom is the nicest girl in the world.

So what I’m saying is, thank you mom for all the hard work you did

for me. Thanks for being there, for comforting me when I need it. And

for that, here is a short poem for you:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

You’re so sweet

And cool too!

My wonderful mom, Lavera Burns Burke, has taught me my most

memorable life lessons. I believe that a mom has character-molding

effects on her children, and I am always amused at the various times

that her advice pops into my head. The lessons were well learned and

hopefully being as effectively impacted by me to her grandsons. Here

are a couple of them:

* Place your faith in God.

* Always pay your debts.

* Phrase your statements in the positive.

* Affirm your goals.

* Even and especially boy children need lots of physical

affection.

* Be kind and generous to those who are challenged or less

fortunate.

* Make peace, make peace, make peace.

Thanks Mom for these and a thousand more invaluable tidbits of

life advice that have given me a solid basis on which to make a good

pass at this life.

We love you bunches! Happy Mother’s Day.

We think our mom is a Super Mom. Our mom is the most enthusiastic

mom in the world. She loves us and always takes care of us. She is

very cool. She started her own clothing business and it is huge. She

makes neat things for our classrooms, and she is very helpful. She

always takes us to our tennis and baseball games and never misses

making our lunch and dinner. We love our mom!

To Karen Patrick,

Thank you, Mom, for everything. Thanks for working hard for our

family. Thanks for always being there. Thanks for forgiving me when

we fight. Thanks for the sacrifices you make daily. Thanks for the

extra mile you go. Thanks for loving me. But most of all, thanks for

never giving up when life got hard.

In Christ,

Dear Mommy,

I knew from the moment I touched you that your heart is as

beautiful on the outside as it was warm and comforting to me on the

inside.

I love you, and you love me, and that’s all that matters in my

little world.

Happy first Mother’s Day!

With all my heart, I love you, Mommy!

Your son,

Mother’s Day is a special time or children to honor their mothers,

to appreciate and express gratitude for all their love, compassion

and selflessness. My mother is not only my inspiration and role

model, but my best friend. Mom, throughout the years, in this

altering and sometimes confusing world, your love and encouragement

has always been constant. Your persistence and ability to stay strong

through even the toughest times has made me want to be a better

person. Your love shines through even the hardest obstacles, and I

could never praise or admire you enough for all you have done not

only for me, but all friends and family.

You have picked me up, calmed me down, cheered me on and helped me

through good and rough times. You have a very special way of

listening, caring and understanding with your heart, adding happiness

to every life you touch. You are a very special mother, daughter,

friend, wife, and I am very thankful to call you my mother. I love

you, and today, Mom, is all for you.

Love always,

Your daughter,

Mommy,

We love you so much for all that you do, from gymnastics and

painting to trips to the zoo. You make every day exciting and fun.

That is why we think that you’re number one! And even when we make

your job kind of tough, with diapers and tantrums and that kind of

stuff, we know that no matter what, you’ll always be there, to love

us and hold us and show that you care. So for all of these reasons we

wanted to say, we’ll love you forever, and have a happy Mother’s

Day!!
