The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies, and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

The menu is subject to change. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt or bean and

cheese burrito, corn on the cob, diced pears, pudding cup, choice of

milk.

WEDNESDAY: Munchable lunch salad or chicken nuggets, baby carrots

with ranch dip, fresh strawberries, graham crackers, choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or teriyaki beef dippers,

rice, crisp green salad with ranch, fresh fruit, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or mozzarella cheese dippers with

marinara sauce, zucchini sticks with ranch dip, frozen 100% fruit

juice bar, choice of milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or Dog-Gone Chick’n sandwich on a

bun, potato smiles, diced pears, choice of milk.
