Tryouts scheduled

for youth musical

Broadway On Tour, a nonprofit children’s theater in Orange County,

is holding auditions for “HONK! -- The Musical” at 6:30 p.m. May 31

at the Ebell Theater, 625 French St., Santa Ana.

Call-backs are June 1 at 6:30 p.m. The show, a music version of

the Ugly Duckling story, runs from July 23 through Aug. 14.

Tryouts are open for boys and girls ages 9 to 18. Participation

fee is $115 and includes instruction, insurance, costumes and a cast

T-shirt. Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and

Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call (714)
