The 24th Annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5K race, 2-mile Fun Walk and

1K Kids Dolphin Dash begins along the bluffs overlooking the ocean

and will proceed through the beautiful residential streets of Corona

del Mar. Separate races for men and women are limited to 1,500

participants each. Children 3 to 10 can compete in a 1K Dolphin Dash.

Registration fees are $25 for the run/walk in advance, $30 day of

event and $10 for the Dolphin Dash (includes breakfast from local

Registration begins today for the 2005 Youth Flag Football, for

boys and girls ages 8 to 13. The program starts on Sept. 26 and ends

on Dec. 3. This program provides youth in the community the

opportunity to participate in a noncompetitive Flag Football league.

Participants will learn the basics of Flag Football, meet new friends

and have fun. Register in person Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5

p.m. at the Balearic Community Center, 1975 Balearic Drive, Costa

Mesa. Registration closes on Sept. 23. Registration is taken on a
