A Fiberglass Repair workshop is being offered by the Orange Coast

College School of Sailing and Seamanship from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An Introduction to the

Spinnaker course is being

offered by the Orange Coast College School of Sailing and

Seamanship. This three-week noncredit course introduces sailors with

solid boat-handling skills to the spinnaker on shields. Class meets

Saturdays from

1:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 18 to

July 9 at the college’s sailing center, 1801 Coast Highway West.

Sailing Fascination offers classes in boating safety and sailing

year-round for persons with disabilities. Classes are Tuesdays and

Fishing classes leave Balboa Pavilion at 6 a.m. and return at

McFadden Square, an open-air market.

Imua Outrigger Canoe Club invites adventure-minded adults to canoe

The Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve offers Back Bay canoe

classes (two oars) and canoe rentals. Classes run for four weeks and
