“NEIGHBORS FOR NEIGHBORS”

In celebration of Volunteer Recognition Week, the City of Costa

Mesa will hold its 24th bi-annual “Neighbors for Neighbors” community

clean-up. The program was created 12 years ago to help low-income

residents with the beautification of their homes and to assist in

local community clean-up. Individuals or groups interested in

The 1/1 Adopt A Marine Battalion Fund was created to accept

donations and to provide financial support for ongoing programs and

events planned to show appreciation to the 1st Battalion 1st Marines,

The Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve is looking for volunteers to

assist with naturalist-led tours and programs, special events and
