BACHI

Bachi is a 10-week-old spayed tabby, with a white blaze, that was

rescued from a family that did not have the resources or knowledge to

care for animals. Thank goodness a young girl named Griselda read our

newspaper ad and called Community Animal Network for help.

Our volunteer pet-link visited the Costa Mesa family and reported

the kitten to be severely under-fed and the home to be crowded with

multiple families with small children, along with a momma cat with

her tiny babies all living in poverty. Griselda was educated in

kitten care and given kitten food to allow us time to bring all the

animals to safety.

Two weeks after Bachi’s rescue, we moved the momma and her kittens

to a volunteer’s bathroom. We are waiting for a permanent foster

family to offer this momma cat and her kitten family a happy home.

The Community Animal Network is a community-supported animal

organization linking people and pets through community action. See

other animals available for adoption at https://www.animalnetwork.org,

Community Animal Network at P.O. Box 8662, Newport Beach, CA 92658.
