PANCAKE BREAKFAST

6:30 to 10 a.m.

The Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach will be hosting a pancake

breakfast at Lake Park, located at the corner of Main Street and

11th. Tickets are $5.

5K AND FITNESS EXPO

6 a.m. registration

The run is the official kickoff to the Huntington Beach Fourth of

July celebration.

There will also be a fitness expo at the corner of 17th and Main

streets, which will feature live entertainment, family fun,

refreshments and fitness products.

MAIN STREET PARADE

10 a.m.

Viewers are encouraged to come early and get a seat along Pacific

Coast Highway or Main Street.

The 250-entry parade begins at Pacific Coast Highway and 8th

Street and winds its way up to the intersection of Yorktown Avenue

and Main Street.

CHILDREN’S VILLAGE

1 to 7 p.m.

The first three blocks of Main Street will be closed with booths

and games for kids.

POP ORCHESTRA

7 p.m.

Patriotic music from Huntington Beach’s own orchestra at the

Pierside Plaza.

FIREWORKS

9 to 9:30 p.m.

Thousands are expected to flock to the beach for this year’s

pyrotechnics display, which will be launched from the pier.
