FRIDAY: The Orange County Young Democrats will have a greeting

table at the Orange County Fair from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Information:

8: The Orange County Young Republicans will hold a general meeting

at 7 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Harry Kloor, Hollywood producer

of the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth commercials. The meeting will be

at the Clubhouse restaurant, South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa. For more

9: The Ethnic Communities Committee of the Republican Party of

Orange County will hold a cigar and conversation on the bay with Rep.

Dana Rohrabacher and honorary event chairman Thomas Fuentes, chairman

emeritus of the Republican Party of Orange County. The event runs

from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Balboa Bay Club on the patio of Duke’s,

1221 W. Coast Highway, Newport Beach. There will be hosted cigars, a

no-host bar and hors d’oeuvres. To reserve a spot, call Jack Wu at

18: Principles Over Politics will feature Assemblyman Ray Haynes

at its monthly breakfast at the Balboa Bay Club. The doors open at
