Roadrunners spring past Rink Rats

The Roadrunners applied defensive pressure on the Rink Rats and never

let up during their Campbell Division encounter at Coast 2 Coast

Inline Hockey Center, scoring a 5-0 shutout victory.

Goalie Trent Morsk recorded 14 saves in getting the shutout.

Tatum Coats accounted for much of the match’s scoring by posting

the first four goals, three of which came in the second period.

Chad Sasaki, who assisted the final three goals scored by Coats,

scored the final goal for the Roadrunners.

David Wellander had 18 saves for the Rink Rats.

In other Campbell Division matches:

Breakers 5, Monstars 3

The Breakers outscored the Monstars, 4-1, over the final two

periods, to overcome a one-goal deficit and get the win.

Brent Rivera and Evan Gray each scored twice to lead the Breakers

and Nolan Strout scored off an Alexander Taros feed to account for

the other Breakers’ goal.

Ethan Higbee finished with 10 saves.

Riley Dix’s two goals paced the Monstars and Tyler Crimmins scored

off an assist by Jake Arnold.

Brandon Sizemore had 15 saves.

Knights 4, Dry Ice 2

Kyle Kowalski scored two goals to help the Knights get past the

Dry Ice.

Other goals for the Knights were scored by Curtis Coburn and

Justin Rivera.

Sam Prizler had 11 saves.

Drew Truxaw scored both goals for the Dry Ice, on coming off an

assist by Jack Truxaw.

Luke Winstead had 15 saves.
