Seahorse winners

Sandi Coffer and Marianne Towersey repeated as low gross champions in

the annual Seahorse Classic, Newport Beach Country Club’s ladies

member/guest tournament Aug. 4-5.

Coffer won five straight Newport Beach Country Club ladies club

titles from 1987-91 while Towersey has claimed the last 21 women’s

championships at Santa Ana Country Club.

Terry Berreman and Jean Campbell claimed the overall net title.

Gross and net winners were crowned in three more flights.
