Peace event will be at park

Join the crowd for music, speakers and food at the second annual

all-day Celebration for Peace on Sept. 10 at Fairview Park in Costa

Mesa. At least 2,000 people are expected to come for free

performances by singer and guitarist Mark Wood, New Age musician Jami

Lula and others. A drum circle rounds out the event at the end of the

day.

Educators and peace advocates will speak, and information will be

offered by local nonprofit groups. A food court will feature edibles

from a variety of cultures. The event lasts from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at

Fairview Park, 2525 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa. For more information
