Cristin Marie McGarry of Omaha, Neb., and John Horton Berkhausen

of Corona del Mar exchanged vows at St. John Vianney Chapel on Balboa

Island Aug. 13.

The bride is the daughter of Craig and Deb McGarry of Omaha, Neb.

The maid of honor was Erin McGarry Baker.

The bridegroom is the son of Brian and Barbara Berkhausen of

Corona del Mar. The best man was Matt Acklin.

The reception took place aboard the Spirit of Newport yacht in

Newport Harbor with 40 guests in attendance. The couple will

honeymoon in Hawaii in October. The couple plans to live in Omaha,

Neb., where they are both second-year law students at Creighton

University.
