Strong Storm douses Heat

The Storm posted a pair of goals in each period of its Wales Division

match against the Heat, emerging with a 6-3 victory at Coast 2 Coast

Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Chas Scott led the way on offense for the Storm with three goals.

Omar Tepayotl, Trevor Scott and Joshua Swafford also scored. Shea

Haselhorst led the team in assists with three, Trevor Scott had a

pair of assists, and Swafford assisted on another goal.

Casey Childers had 43 saves and recorded the win.

The Heat got goals from Gavin Plotkin, Brad Murchison and Jeffrey

Wong. Jason Wong and Brian Ingram each had an assist.

Andrew Skowron finished with 37 saves for the Heat.

In other Wales Division action:

Thunder 4, Ice Dogs 1

Tristan De Boom posted two goals and the Thunder allowed just one

goal in defeating the Ice Dogs.

Jacob Gonzales opened the scoring, and Cheyne Taylor finished it

off for the Thunder. Gonzales also came up with two assists, and

Dylan Dongird added one assist.

Zachary Jezulin scored in the second period for the Ice Dogs. His

goal was set up by a feed from Alec Schartner. Brandon Jones had 37

saves.

Raptors 5, Predators 4

Matt Korn set up Shane Patel in the third period, allowing Patel

to net the winning goal as the Raptors edged the Predators.

Korn also scored twice and had a total of two assists. Erich Post

Jr. scored two goals for the Raptors and had an assist. James Newman

had an assist, and Cameron Nagai had 38 saves.

The scoring for the Predators was spread among Justin Pederson,

Anthony Thompson, Ian Livesay and Zachary Harriman.

Kevin Gast and Madison Clark each had an assist, and David Stone

had 36 saves.
