TJ Baptie is Zonta’s Woman of the Year

The Zonta Club of Burbank Area will honor TJ Baptie, vice president

of Community Relations for Disney Worldwide Outreach, Walt Disney

Co., as Burbank’s 2005 Woman of the Year.

A longtime resident of Burbank, Baptie has been with Disney for 21

years. During her tenure, she has served on the community boards of

Providence Health Systems, San Fernando Valley Region and the

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation Board. She also

serves on the Board of the Burbank Chamber of Commerce, Woodbury

University Library Associates and the Burbank YMCA Advisory Council.

In addition, she was a founding member of the Burbank Business

Education Partnership Program.

She will be honored at the Woman of the Year luncheon Nov. 5 at

The Zonta Club of Burbank Area is a member of Zonta International,

a worldwide service organization of executives and professionals

working to improve the status of women. In Burbank, the club awards

annual scholarships to graduating high school students, provides

financial support to Families First and through its Bear Hugs

program, furnishes teddy bears to the Burbank Police Department for

distressed children.
